Golf.
The Scots that are at fault for all the exasperation, anxieties, anger, nervous breakdowns and broken marriages. Had it not been for them there wouldn't be any golf. They started it all off in Edinburgh in 1456 and the ball hasn't stopped rolling since.
It took Germany a while to get into the swing of things. But after Bernhard Langer put on the PGA green jacket after winning The Masters in Georgia in 1985 golf courses started sprouting like weeds in Germany. Today it's a very popular sport and there are both public and private courses as well as driving ranges in Neuss. So pack the bag and take your handicap to one of the clubs. They'll love to have you.
