Horse Racing

Heavyweight investment in the race track and facilities have created a truly high quality venue for a sport once considered to be the reserve of royalty and aristocracy. A stone's throw away from the town centre, horse racing can be enjoyed throughout the winter.
Whilst the atmosphere found in Hong Kong or Ascot may be somewhat different, the new all-weather track includes the familiar grass track as well as a new 1,540 meter long and 16 meter wide sand track that has been laid out. Thus, a quality that is second to none is on offer to attract high class horses and bubbly spectators.
Furthermore, forty-two masts with floodlights guarantee that races held in the evening are assured "as bright as day" illumination. So the new facilities, which include a new pavillion, make activities of such a popular spectator sport possible even in the darkest of months. Apparently gents, ladies are admitted free of charge.
