Airport Getaway.
The airport closest to the city of Neuss is the Düsseldorf International Airport. It is the third largest airport in Germany and has become during the last years an important hub for intercontinental flights to North America and Asia.
After your arrival in Dusseldorf you can take the SkyTrain, a fully automatic overhead tram, will take you from your terminal to the Düsseldorf Airport station where you can take more than 350 trains of all categories, from local trains to ICE, which makes the airport a perfect starting point for your further journey to Neuss main station, which will take you approximately 30 minutes.
There are also numerous taxis, bus lines, and car rental services and the airport is right next to the highway A44 which will connect you with other highways.
